Kitty and Ellie enjoyed a fantastic day together at Lee Valley, competing in the last Minithon of the 2024 indoor season.
It was Kitty’s indoor debut, and she gave three strong performances on the track:
60m – 9.51 PB
200m – 32.12 PB
600m – 2.06.83 PB
Ellie enjoyed competing in both field and track events:
Long Jump: 2.81 = PB
Shot Put (2.72kg): 4.24m PB by 3cm
600m: 2.21.39 PB by 4.1s
It would be great to see more U11 and U13 at the events next year.
Both girls received their Bronze medals from Minithon Guest of Honour – Bebe Jackson, Commonwealth Youth games 2023 Silver Medalist in Discus.
